Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area protects marshes, fields, woods, and slopes along the north shore of the St. Lawrence. Its best-known spectacle is the spring and autumn gathering of greater snow geese, when the flats can fill with birds. Outside migration season, the trails still make this one of the best nature outings near Québec City.
