Access Communications Centre

The 2,500-seat arena (built in 1962 as the Civic Centre, now naming-righted as the Access Communications Centre) is the city's main events venue and the home rink of the North Stars of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Junior hockey nights are a serious affair in small Saskatchewan cities, and a Friday game here is the most local thing you can do in town.

Beyond hockey, the venue hosts concerts, curling bonspiels, trade shows, and graduations. It is a workaday small-city arena rather than an architectural attraction — go for what is happening, not for the building.
