The Battlefords' story is built around three sites: Fort Battleford for the 1885 Resistance, the Western Development Museum for the prairie settlement story, and the Allen Sapp Gallery for the most important Indigenous painter of the region. Add a swim at Battlefords Provincial Park in summer and you have the heart of the area.
