Little Cayman is reached by a 10-minute Cayman Airways Express flight from Cayman Brac or a 40-minute flight direct from Grand Cayman. The aircraft are 19-seat turboprops; baggage allowance is modest and dive gear is generally accommodated for an extra fee. The airfield is an unfenced strip; the road around the island crosses it, and a windsock and lights signal when traffic must stop for an inbound aircraft.
Most visitors fly in for a one-week dive package, in which case the lodge will arrange the airport pickup. Those arriving independently should contact accommodation in advance; there are no taxis waiting and almost no foot traffic at the airport.
