Playa Blanca is the longest beach on Cayo Largo — a sweep of pale sand running for several kilometres along the central southern coast, with the line of all-inclusive hotels set back behind a fringe of vegetation. The swimming is easy, the sand is shallow underfoot, and the views east and west are uninterrupted.
This is the beach most resort guests use, because it is the one their hotel sits on. It is less postcard-perfect than Sirena or Paraíso but a genuinely lovely stretch of coast, and you can walk for an hour without leaving it.
