Isla Tasajera sits beyond the busier Costa del Sol strip, between open Pacific water and the estuary. It is a small-community, boat-access place, better suited to a slow nature outing than a polished beach day.
The appeal is the feeling of being at the edge of the coast: sand, mangroves, fishing boats, and wide sky. Arrange transport carefully and do not assume frequent public crossings, especially late in the day.
