A proper Italian restaurant in the middle of Xela — not something you'd expect to find this far into the highlands. The menu leans on pasta: penne with black truffles and smoked salmon, spaghetti amatriciana, fettuccine alfredo, gnocchi al pomodoro, lasagne bolognese. Tiramisu to finish. The wine list is decent, the bread is baked in-house, and the prices are reasonable by any standard. Two blocks south of the Municipal Theater.
