Martinique's main history museum, housed in a colonial building near La Savane. The collection focuses on pre-Columbian artifacts from the island's Arawak and Carib populations — pottery, tools, and ceremonial objects — alongside exhibits on the colonial period and plantation economy. Modest in scale but the pre-Columbian pieces are genuinely good.
