Plaza Principal is the natural starting point in Ahuacatlán. It is a traditional Mexican town square with clipped gardens, tall palms, paved walkways, iron benches, and a central bandstand.
Come in the late afternoon if you can. The square is best when people are out walking, vendors set up nearby, and the parish church catches the softer light across the street.
