The Parroquia de Santa Maria de Guadalupe is smaller than San Jose Obrero but more intimate, with warm cantera stone outside and a colourful vaulted interior. Its chapels, saints' niches, and painted ceilings show the older religious heart of Arandas.
It pairs well with San Jose Obrero because the two churches tell different stories: one monumental and neo-Gothic, the other older, softer, and more local in feel.
