Culiacán Botanical Garden is a 10-hectare garden east of the city centre, with more than 2,000 plants across a range of ecosystems. It is a good break from the heat and traffic, and the plant collections make it more than a simple urban park.
Go for a slow walk, shade, and a look at regional and tropical species. It pairs well with the nearby science museum if you are planning a family-friendly afternoon.
