Birriería La Curva is a simple local place for birria, usually eaten earlier in the day rather than as a late dinner. The appeal is direct: rich broth, lamb or goat, and crisp golden tacos.
It is a useful counterweight to the prettier plaza restaurants, and a better taste of everyday El Fuerte if you catch it open.
