The Mining Museum is the practical stop for understanding why El Oro exists. Its photographs, machinery, minerals, and mine history make the town's grander buildings feel less like decoration and more like evidence.
It is not a huge museum, but it gives useful context before you walk up to Tiro Norte or around the old railway quarter.
