Tiro Norte is one of El Oro's clearest mining relics, a surviving mine-head structure above the town. The machinery is the point, but so is the view: from here the tight streets and old mining landscape make more sense.
Pair it with the Mining Museum rather than treating it as a standalone sight. Together they tell the boom-and-decline story better than either does alone.
