Cascada El Salto is the convenient waterfall near town, reached by short trails and a rough access road. The falls are not the biggest in the Sierra Tarahumara, but they are close enough to fit around arrival day or a slow morning.
The setting is the draw: rock formations, pine shade, water, and a small suspension bridge give it more texture than a quick roadside photo stop. It pairs naturally with Lago de las Garzas.
