A sheltered beach tucked between Playa Municipal and Playa La Ropa in Zihuatanejo. The water is calm and good for swimming, making it popular with local families and Mexican tourists. Most afternoons a pickup soccer game takes over part of the sand.
Several mid-range hotels and beachfront restaurants line the shore. M.J. and Richie's at one end serves good breakfast and lunch under palapas, with solid seafood and cold drinks.
