Mina Aurora is a former mine opened to visitors on guided walks. The route runs about 1.4 km underground and gives a direct look at the mining history that shaped Mineral del Chico.
Hardhats are provided, but bring a small light if you have one. The mine stays cool year-round, so a jacket and sturdy shoes are useful.
