Parroquia Sagrado Corazon is one of central Monterrey's more appealing historic churches. It dates from the late 19th century and keeps more of the older colonial church style than many of the city's 20th-century religious buildings.
The church is active, so visit quietly and avoid services unless you are attending. It works well as a short stop while walking between the Macroplaza and the surrounding downtown streets.
