The house where Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor lived during and after the filming of The Night of the Iguana in 1963. Burton bought a second house across the street for Taylor and connected the two with a bridge, now known as the Lovers' Bridge. Today Casa Kimberly operates as a boutique hotel with nine suites, blue-and-white tiled staircases, 19th-century antiques, and views over Banderas Bay. The Iguana Restaurant inside serves Mexican cuisine with a side of old Hollywood glamour.

A story
Richard Burton bought the house across the street for Elizabeth Taylor as a birthday gift, then had the two buildings connected by a pink bridge — the "Lovers' Bridge" — so they could pass between them without being seen by the press camped out below.
