Le Kliff advertises itself as the "most beautiful restaurant in Mexico" — and it just might be. Built on a sea cliff overlooking the Pacific, the restaurant is a series of palapas linked by winding staircases. The tables line each palapa and many have a 180-degree or wider view of the ocean and nearby coast.
Most places with views like this have disappointing food, the thought being that you are really just there for the view — but Le Kliff has some wonderful, inventive dishes. Fire-roasted lobster and ceviche are both excellent. The prices are high — more than you would expect to spend in Mexico — but the setting is genuinely once in a lifetime.
