Vida Milenaria protects sea-turtle nests on Tecolutla's beach and has become one of the town's most worthwhile stops. During the nesting and hatching season, visitors may be able to hear an educational talk or watch hatchlings released toward the sea.
Treat it as a conservation project first, not a guaranteed show. Timing depends on the turtles, weather and the condition of the nests.
