Boca de Pascuales is Tecomán's standout coastal stop. The beach is famous for strong, hollow waves that draw experienced surfers, and it still feels like a rough surf village rather than a resort strip.
Come to watch the ocean even if you do not surf. The enramadas serve seafood close to the sand, the river mouth and palms give the place a raw Pacific look, and the sunsets can be excellent. Swimming is another matter: currents and surf can be serious, so treat the water with respect.
