The Santuario del Señor de la Misericordia is one of Tepatitlán's strongest devotional sites. It is closely tied to the Feria Tepabril, the late-April celebration that brings masses, music, and a much larger crowd than the city usually carries.
Even outside festival season, the sanctuary gives a good feel for Tepa's religious life. Visit it with the parish church and the municipal museum rather than treating it as a stand-alone sight.
