Pasaje Rodríguez is a narrow covered alley running between Avenida Revolución and Avenida Constitución, just north of Calle 3. What was once a declining commercial arcade has been colonised over the past two decades by independent galleries, coffee shops, vinyl record stores, taco stands, and small creative businesses.
The passage is perhaps 200 metres long and covers both an upper and lower level. The murals painted on every available surface are dense and constantly changing — this is one of the main canvases for Tijuana's thriving street art scene. Several small galleries open onto the corridor and there's usually something exhibiting.
It's worth a slow wander even if everything is shut. On weekends and evenings, particularly Thursday through Saturday, the alley fills with people and several of the food and drink spots stay open late.
