Tijuana has a pleasant Mediterranean climate similar to San Diego. Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are the most comfortable, with temperatures in the mid-20s Celsius and little rain. Summers are warm and sunny but can be crowded with US visitors on weekends. Winters are mild but rainy — December and January see most of the year's precipitation, though rarely more than a few days of grey at a stretch.
Weekends bring a huge surge of day-trippers from San Diego, so weekday visits are noticeably more relaxed.
