Teatro Nazas is Torreon's main cultural stage and one of the better reasons to stay downtown into the evening. The restored theatre hosts concerts, dance, film events, festivals, and touring performances in a city better known to visitors for desert landscapes and industrial grit.
As with any theatre, the calendar matters. If something good is on, the Nazas gives you a polished night out and a look at Torreon's civic culture beyond the plaza and museums.
