A small café-restaurant on Avenida Tulum, Burrito Amor makes its tortillas with vegetable-based natural dyes — beetroot, turmeric, spinach — and fills them with locally-sourced meat, fish, and vegetables. Breakfast burritos with eggs and beans, lunch burritos with achiote pork or slow-cooked beef, vegetarian options with grilled vegetables and avocado.
The interior is plant-filled and instagram-friendly without being insufferable, and the kitchen is genuinely careful about its sourcing — local farmers and small fishers wherever possible. Smoothies, micheladas, and locally-roasted coffee complete the menu. Open from breakfast through late lunch.
