Roca Blanca is the western end of Zipolite, named for the white offshore rock that catches your eye from the sand. It is one of the best places in town to settle in before sunset, with the beach opening wide toward the Pacific and the rock giving the horizon a marker.
This end of town also has much of Zipolite's evening life, with restaurants and bars nearby on the Roca Blanca strip. Come before dark, watch the light change, then wander back through the village rather than rushing off.
