Director's Bay

Director's Bay is a quiet, pebbly cove beyond Fort Beekenburg and the old quarantine buildings. Limestone cliffs shelter clear water, and the reef drops away close to shore, making the bay more interesting below the surface than it first appears from the road.

There are few facilities and the entry is coral rubble rather than sand. Bring water shoes, drinking water, and snorkelling gear. Divers should get current local advice before treating it as an easy shore site; the wall continues well beyond casual snorkelling depth.
