Tugboat Wreck

The Tugboat is a small wreck resting upright in about five metres of water off Caracas Bay. Decades underwater have covered it in coral and sponges, and schools of fish circle the hull. Its shallow depth makes this one of the island's rare wrecks that is genuinely rewarding with only a mask and snorkel.

Enter from Tugboat Beach and follow the coast toward the mooring area. The shore is rocky, so water shoes help, and boat traffic deserves attention. Go early for calmer water and fewer tour groups.
