Miraflor is a broad reserve of small farms, cloud forest and mountain communities about 30 km northeast of Estelí. The usual visit is not a single lookout but a slow day of walking, riding horses, seeing orchids and talking with families who host travellers. It is one of the better places in Nicaragua to mix landscape with rural life.
