Wizard Beach, also called Playa Primera, is a long, undeveloped surf beach on Isla Bastimentos. It is wilder and quieter than Red Frog Beach, with a broad sweep of sand, jungle behind it, and waves that can be excellent when conditions line up.
The beach is also known for a strong undertow, so it is not a casual swimming spot. Come for the walk, the scenery, and the surf if you know what you are doing; inexperienced swimmers should stay out of the water when the sea is rough.
