Rincon Pueblo is the town's historic center, with a Roman Catholic church, Spanish-style plaza, municipal buildings and surrounding streets of small shops. It is compact enough to park and explore on foot.
The plaza still gives the center its civic focus, echoing the old Spanish planning rules that made the town square the place for gatherings and celebrations.
