Getting There

Middle Caicos has its own small airport (MDS) with occasional charter flights, but most visitors arrive by ferry from North Caicos, which is itself connected to Providenciales by daily ferry service. The crossing from North Caicos to Middle Caicos takes about 45 minutes. Car rental is available on North Caicos.

Alternatively, Middle Caicos is connected to North Caicos by a causeway — the only road link between any two of the inhabited Caicos Islands — so visitors with a car can drive across. The drive from the North Caicos ferry landing to Middle Caicos takes about 30 minutes.

Accommodation on the island is limited to a handful of small guesthouses and rental cottages. Book well in advance, particularly around major holidays.
