Pine Cay Beach

A sweeping arc of white sand along Pine Cay's north shore, backed by casuarina pines and facing water that shades from pale turquoise over the shallows to deep blue at the reef edge. The absence of day visitors means you can walk the entire beach without passing another person.

The water is calm and warm, suitable for swimming all year. The Meridian Club provides kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, Hobie cats, and snorkelling gear to guests. At either end of the beach the reef comes close enough to shore to snorkel from the sand.

A story
The beach curves for about three miles along the north shore, facing the Caicos Bank shallows. Because the island is entirely private, the sand is usually occupied only by guests of the Meridian Club and the occasional flamingo that has wandered over from North Caicos — which lies just a few miles to the east.
