Salt Cay does not offer much to do in the conventional sense, which is entirely the point. The island's character is defined by the ruins of its salt industry, excellent diving on the barrier reef wall, and whale watching from January through April when humpbacks migrate through the Columbus Passage. Beyond that, there are beaches, silence, and very little else.
