Gulf Shores Public Beach

Gulf Shores Public Beach is the town's front porch: a wide strip of pale sand at the end of Highway 59, with parking, lifeguards in season, and restaurants close enough that you can stay all day without packing much.

It is also the busiest beach in town. Arrive early in summer, or use it for a sunset walk and save your long, quiet beach time for Gulf State Park or the Fort Morgan side.
