Mobile Regional Airport (MOB) has direct flights to Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, and a handful of other hubs. Most visitors connect through Atlanta on Delta. From Atlanta it is about a 90-minute drive down Interstate 65 to Mobile, or a short flight.
Driving is the main way to arrive. I-65 from the north (Birmingham, Nashville) is the main route. I-10 runs east-west through Mobile, connecting New Orleans to the west (about 2.5 hours) and Pensacola to the east. There is no passenger rail service to Mobile. Greyhound buses stop here on the New Orleans–Pensacola–Jacksonville corridor.
