Tuscaloosa Regional Airport (TCL) has limited service, mostly connecting to Atlanta via regional carriers. Most visitors fly into Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM), about 60 miles east, and drive or take a Greyhound bus from there. The drive from Birmingham takes about an hour on I-20/I-59.
From Atlanta, the drive takes two to two and a half hours via I-20 West. Amtrak does not serve Tuscaloosa. Greyhound operates a station in town with connections to Birmingham and New Orleans.
Within Alabama, Tuscaloosa is about an hour from Birmingham, two hours from Montgomery, and three and a half hours from Mobile.
