After-ski Girdwood is small and unpretentious. The Sitzmark at the base of the lifts is the default; the Chair 5 a short walk away does pizza and a long beer list; and the bar at the Hotel Alyeska is the upmarket option. Everyone ends up at the Sitzmark eventually.
