Seven Glaciers Restaurant

Seven Glaciers occupies the upper terminal of the Alyeska tram, 2,300 feet above the valley floor. The dining room is a full-glass curve facing south over Turnagain Arm, with — as the name suggests — seven hanging glaciers visible from the table. It is the only fine-dining experience in southcentral Alaska where the view is also the menu.

The food is contemporary Alaska — king crab, halibut, reindeer tenderloin, foraged greens — and it is genuinely good rather than just a captive-audience operation. Open for dinner only, summer and winter seasons. Tram rides for guests are included in the reservation. Book ahead.
