The Sutter Street Grill is one of the oldest continuously operating drinking establishments in Folsom's historic district. The bar occupies a narrow stone building dating from the 1860s and has kept much of the original architecture — high ceilings, rough plaster walls, and a long wooden bar that has probably seen a few disputes in its time.
The beer selection leans toward California craft breweries, and the kitchen turns out reliable bar food: burgers, sandwiches, and the kind of substantial plate that makes sense after a day on the bike trail. Live music runs most Friday and Saturday nights; the room is small enough that even a modest local band fills it comfortably.
