A remote hot spring on Buckeye Creek, about 8 miles northwest of Bridgeport via Twin Lakes Road and a dirt track. The main pool sits at the edge of the creek, allowing bathers to alternate between the hot spring water and the cold mountain stream. The setting — a narrow canyon with willows and cottonwoods — is wilder and quieter than Travertine.
The access road requires a high-clearance vehicle after the pavement ends. There is a campground nearby (Buckeye Campground), making this a natural base for an overnight trip. The spring is on BLM land and free to use.
