Mono County Courthouse

The 1880 courthouse on the main street is the finest building in Bridgeport and one of the prettiest Victorian courthouses in the Sierra Nevada. The white-painted Italianate structure has been in continuous use since it was built during a regional mining boom, and it still serves as the seat of county government. Worth a stop to admire the facade and the tall windows; the interior is occasionally open during business hours.
