Pinecrest Lake

Forest-ringed Sierra lake for swimming, trout fishing, boating, and easy summer days.

Pinecrest Lake is the reason the village exists as a travel stop. In summer it draws families for swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boats, and simple beach time under the pines.

The lake level changes with the season because it is fed by snowmelt and managed by Strawberry Dam. Early summer usually feels fuller and fresher; late summer can expose more shoreline.
