San Bernardino's nightlife is modest — a handful of downtown bars, a few craft-beer spots, and the big casinos at San Manuel (in Highland) and Morongo (an hour east in Cabazon) that draw crowds from across the region for gaming and touring live-music acts. The California Theatre of the Performing Arts, a beautifully preserved 1928 Spanish-Moorish venue downtown, hosts the San Bernardino Symphony and touring stage productions.
