Europa Village is a themed wine resort that breaks the standard Temecula formula. Instead of one tasting room, there are three separate "villages" — Italian, French, and Spanish — each with its own portfolio of varietals matched to the country, its own restaurant, and its own architectural pastiche.
It is a slightly Disney-fied experience, but the wines are taken seriously and the food in the restaurants is well above the regional average. Reservations recommended on weekends.
