A small aquarium on Highway 101 that does guided tours rather than self-guided wandering. The tour moves through tide pools, a half-million gallon shark tank where you can pet a shark, and ends with a sea lion performance. It is unabashedly aimed at families, and it works well for that — children generally love the shark petting.
Open daily year-round (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas). Summer hours run 9am–8pm; winter hours 9am–5pm.
