Santa Ana is one of the best places in Orange County to eat Mexican food. Head to Calle Cuatro (4th Street) for traditional taquerias and mariscos — the Baja-Californian seafood tradition of ceviche and fish tacos is strong here — and to the Harbor Boulevard corridor for carnitas, birria and al pastor. The downtown arts district has added a steady stream of newer Mexican-American and craft beer places in the last decade.
