A small cove in the Seacliff neighborhood, China Beach is bordered by high coastal cliffs that give it a secluded, intimate feel. Named for the Chinese fishermen who camped here during the Gold Rush, it is one of San Francisco's quietest beaches and perfect for sunbathing away from crowds.
Amenities include picnic tables, barbecue pits, and restrooms. The beach is a short walk from the Muni #1 and #29 bus lines, just off Seacliff Avenue.
